Why facial lymphatic drainage?
Lymphatic drainage is a technique originating from Asian beauty rituals. It stimulates lymphatic circulation to eliminate toxins, reduce puffiness, and reveal a brighter complexion. The Eirea Beauty contour brush was designed to make this ritual accessible at home, in just a few minutes.
Before starting: prepare the skin
For optimal results, use the brush on clean, slightly damp skin, or after applying your usual serum or cream. The brush glides better on hydrated skin, and active ingredients penetrate more effectively.
- Cleanse your face
- Apply your serum (propolis, collagen, etc.)
- The skin should be slightly damp or oiled
The ritual step by step
Step 1 — The neck (starting point)
Always start with the neck to open the lymph nodes. Make gentle upward and downward strokes, from the jaw to the collarbone, 5 to 6 times on each side.
Step 2 — The jaw and lower face
Place the brush under the chin and move it up towards the ears, following the jawline. Repeat 5 times on each side. This movement helps to sculpt the oval of the face and reduce a double chin.
Step 3 — The cheeks
Start from the corner of the mouth and move up towards the temples, following the cheekbone. Make slow and regular movements, 5 to 6 times per side. This gesture drains the cheeks and redefines the contours.
Step 4 — The eye contour
Use the tip of the brush with very light pressure. Start from the inner corner of the eye and glide towards the temple, following the brow bone then under the eye. Repeat 3 to 4 times. This movement reduces puffiness and dark circles.
Step 5 — The forehead
Start from the center of the forehead and move up towards the temples, then towards the ears. Repeat 5 times. Finish by moving down towards the neck to evacuate the drained toxins.
Recommended frequency
For visible results, practice this ritual 3 to 5 times a week, ideally in the morning to de-puff the face upon waking. A complete session lasts between 5 and 10 minutes.
Tips to maximize results
- Light pressure: lymphatic drainage does not require strong pressure — the lymphatic vessels are superficial.
- Slow movements: go gently, without rubbing.
- Always towards the lymph nodes: movements should always be directed towards the neck or temples.
- Pair with a serum: our Propolis & Niacinamide Serum is ideal for boosting the draining effect.
- Clean the brush after each use with lukewarm water and mild soap.
Who is this ritual for?
The lymphatic brush is suitable for all skin types. It is particularly recommended if you tend to have a puffy face in the morning, tired features, or if you simply want to improve the radiance of your complexion daily.
